Work with cargo spaces
One of the most important parts of EasyCargo is the cargo space; which contains the items you specify to be transported.
Use the List Of Cargo Spaces in the upper right corner next to the Cargo Space Infopanel to select the most suitable space for you. There, you can see information about the dimensions, load capacity, and volume of the space you have selected for loading.
Click on the arrow to see more options for cargo spaces. It is possible to filter for only a certain type - containers, trucks, trailers, or a combination of those. Alternatively, simply turn off the selected filters to see all available options.
If you want to use a semi-trailer, it is recommended to choose a truck to go with it. This is the only way to correctly determine the axle loads and the weight distribution of the load. It is possible to complete the load without a truck. However, the load on the kingpin will not be distributed to the truck axles, which is probably the figure you would want to know.
If you use some cargo spaces more often than others, add them to your favorites with a star. You can then filter the spaces marked in this way to make your work easier as well as having them quickly and easily available.
An overview of available cargo spaces is also available on the Cargo Spaces tab in the Tabs Bar.
Here, you can also filter the items in the list by various criteria - popularity, name, or cargo space type. Unlike the previous settings, you can also filter by the date of creation or the user who created the space.
Existing cargo spaces can be edited or deleted.
If you are using vehicles that are not in our List of cargo spaces, we have an easy solution for you - create your own. Press the Create Custom Cargo Space button or "+" in the List of Cargo Spaces.
Select the name of the cargo space and fill in the required values. You should be able to find all the values in the vehicle's technical documentation or from the manufacturer.
If the documentation does not directly specify the dimensions of the loading area, make sure you specify the internal dimensions of the cargo space. Do not confuse them with the external dimensions. If the floor slopes, fill in the lesser of the clearances.
To create a custom cargo space, you must enter all the required values. If any of them cannot be determined, consider how crucial the information is for you and try to estimate it. Keep in mind that the result will be slightly inaccurate for this reason. Instead, we recommend using lower values. This way you can be sure that the load will fit and not exceed the limits. Furthermore, always try to make your estimate as accurate as possible for the sake of the calculation.
We've created the ability to customize cargo spaces so that anyone can use the app, regardless of their means of transport, and we believe it will once again make it easier for you to work with EasyCargo.
