Import from Excel

You can import your items from MS Excel too - thus you won't need to insert items one by one manually. Please use our template which you can download directly from the application under the Shipments & Reports tab right after clicking on the Import of Shipment button. Then you will be able to choose the template based on the measurement units (Metric or Imperial ones).

Insert the articles, descriptions, dimensions, and constraints of specific items.

You can either insert the total weight of items or the weight per one item:

You can even keep a list of all the items that you usually load and then before each import adjust the quantities only. In that case, before processing the Excel import, uncheck the option “Also import items with zero count” so that the import process skips the rows with zero-count items.

Please watch our tutorial video for more details:

Never change the names of the Excel sheet tabs, nor adjust the columns A to J either. Please be sure that you use Excel 2007 or a later version. The Excel file needs to be saved in the .xlsx format.

Please note that in some versions of MS Excel an error occurs. The issue can be solved easily by uploading the Excel file to Google Sheets and downloading it again. Thus the document will be saved in a compatible format that can be imported without any issues.

You can also use an exported file for import - see the chapter How to Read the Load Plan.
